Group Registration ticket types allows a guest to purchase a single "Group Ticket" that automatically reserves a specific number of attendee spots (e.g., a "Table of 8" or a "Family of 4").
Our new Group Registration feature simplifies this by allowing you to sell bundled ticket packages under a single transaction.
This update is designed specifically for:
Gala Table Sales: Sell a "Table of 10" with a single flat rate.
Corporate Sponsorships: Allow companies to buy blocks of tickets (e.g., "Silver Sponsor - 5 Attendees").
Conference Team Passes: Offer discounted rates for teams of 3 or more.

Important Rules & Compatibility
To ensure your inventory remains accurate, there are two specific logic rules regarding the Max Ticket Sales (Event Capacity) setting:
If Group Registration is enabled: You will not be able to set a "Max Ticket Sales" limit for the overall event (under Setup>Registration>Advanced)
If Max Ticket Sales is already enabled: The "Group Registration" option will be greyed out or unavailable for your tickets.
[NOTE] These features are mutually exclusive to prevent overbooking, as Group Tickets deduct multiple spots from your total inventory at once.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this change my existing tickets? No. All existing tickets will stay as the "Regular" registration type by default and will behave exactly as they did before.
Can I collect names for everyone in the group? Yes! Depending on your Data Collection settings (found under Setup > Registration > Advanced), you can choose to collect information from just the primary buyer or from every individual attendee within that group:
