Step 1: Manage Your Sponsors List

Before adding the component to your website, you need to populate your list of sponsors.

  1. Access the Sponsors List: From your Event Dashboard, navigate to Tools > More > Sponsors.

  2. Add Your Sponsors: You have two ways to build your list:

    • Bulk Upload: Upload an .xls file containing the First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Company, Bio, and Sponsor Tag (if applicable) for each sponsor.

Note: If you want sponsors to appear in a specific order, arrange them in your file before uploading. The system displays names in reverse order (from the bottom of your list up).

    • Quick Add: Use the Quick Add button to manually enter sponsors one by one.

  3. Upload Sponsor Logos: Once a sponsor is added, upload their logo.

    • Pro Tip: For a consistent look, we recommend using images with a 1:1 (square) or 3:4 (portrait) aspect ratio.

Step 2: Enable Sponsor Self-Registration

If you prefer to have sponsors sign up themselves:

  1. Set Levels: Go to Sponsorship Level to define the different tiers for your event.

  2. Customize the Form: Go to Form Settings to tailor the registration questions.

  3. Share the Link: Copy the Form Link provided at the top of the settings page; this link is unique to your sponsor registration.

Step 3: Add the Dynamic Sponsors Section to Your Website

Now that your list is ready, you can display it on your live site.

  1. Open the Editor: Navigate to Setup > Website > Edit Website.

  2. Choose a Location: Scroll to the area where you want the sponsors to appear and click the plus sign (+).

  3. Insert the Component: Under the Dynamic heading, select Sponsors.

  4. Automatic Updates: Once placed, the section will automatically pull and display the logos from your Managed List. If you add or remove a sponsor later, this section will update automatically.

Troubleshooting the Sponsors List

If your sponsors aren't appearing as expected or the layout looks off, check these common solutions:

  • Logos are missing or blank: Ensure you have uploaded an image file for each entry in the Sponsors List. If you added sponsors via bulk upload, logos must be added manually afterward by clicking on the individual sponsor record.

  • Images look blurry or cropped: Check the aspect ratio of your source file. We recommend 1:1 (Square) or 3:4 (Portrait). If your logo is very wide (landscape), try adding white space to the top and bottom of the image before uploading to bring it closer to a square shape.

  • New sponsors aren't showing up on the website: While the component is dynamic, your browser may be showing a cached version of the site. Try refreshing your Website Editor or viewing the live site in an Incognito/Private window to verify the update.
