If you’ve already built a great-looking email template, you don’t need to start from scratch every time. Duplicating a template lets you copy the design and content in seconds, then make edits for your new message.
Please note: It is not possible to duplicate email templates from one event to another, but if you duplicate the entire event website, it will also duplicate the email templates.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Go to Share & Tools > Emails/Invites:
2. Click on the Templates tab:
3. Click on the ... icon and select Duplicate:
4. The duplicate email template will save with (copy) in the title:
5. Click on the title of the email to make changes:
Tips:
The duplicated template includes all content and formatting from the original (text, images, layout).
You can immediately rename the copy to avoid confusion with the original.
Use duplicates to A/B test subject lines or messaging without affecting your master template.
Because duplication doesn’t change event-specific tokens (like event name, date), double-check dynamic fields when you reuse in a different event.
