Refunding an Order

Refunding an order is helpful when an attendee is dissatisfied and you would like to return their payment while keeping their attendance record intact.

How to Refund an Order

  1. Go to Track > Orders/Registrations.

  2. Find the order you’d like to refund.

  3. Select Refund Attendee.

What Happens When You Refund an Order

  • The ticket still counts toward ticket inventory, since the attendee was registered for the event.

  • The refunded amount is excluded from revenue reports.

Cancelling an Order

Cancelling an order is best if you have a no-refund policy and an attendee notifies you they will not be able to attend. This allows the ticket(s) to be made available to other customers.

How to Cancel an Order

  1. Go to Track > Orders/Registrations.

  2. Find the order you’d like to cancel.

  3. Select Cancel Registration.

What Happens When You Cancel an Order

  • The ticket(s) are removed from the “purchased/tickets sold” inventory and become available for resale.

  • Because no refund is issued, the order remains included in revenue reports.

Deleting an Order

Deleting an order is recommended for free ticket events when an attendee confirms they will not attend.

How to Delete an Order

  1. Go to Track > Orders/Registrations.

  2. Find the order you’d like to delete.

  3. Select Delete Registration.

What Happens When You Delete an Order

  • The ticket(s) are removed from the “purchased/tickets sold” inventory.

  • The entire order and all associated attendees are permanently deleted.
