Refunding Orders

If you have a disappointed attendee and you wish to make the attendee feel better by refunding the order, you can do this by going to Track > Orders/Registrations, finding the order and choosing Refund Attendee.

The result is that the order will still count against the ticket inventory (as the attendee was still at the event). But since the coordinator refunded the ticket cost, the order will not be included in revenue reports.

Cancelling Orders:

If you have a strict "no refund" policy, but an attendee has let you know that they will not be able to attend, you can cancel the order so that ticket(s) associated with this order will become available to other customers.

You can cancel an order by going to Track > Orders/Registrations, finding the order and choosing Cancel Registration.

The result is that the order will be removed from the “purchased/ticket sold” inventory. But since this order is still income, the order will appear as revenue.

Deleting Orders:

If you are offering free tickets, but an attendee has let you know that they will not be able to attend, you can delete the order so that tickets associated with this order will become available to other customers.

You can delete an order by going to Track > Orders/Registrations, finding the order and choosing Delete Registration.

The result is that the order will be removed from the “purchased/ticket sold” inventory and the entire order and attendees will be deleted.
