If you need to gather some final details from your registered attendees, speakers, or sponsors—like answering custom questions or updating their registration information—you have two easy ways to do it. Let’s make this process smooth and simple!🫡
Option 1: Resend the Registration Confirmation
This method allows the attendee / speaker to update their existing registration directly.
Navigate to Reports > Orders (Speakers) in your dashboard.
Locate the speaker's order, check the box next to the order number, and resend their email confirmation.
Instruct the attendee or speaker to open the email and click the View Registration button.
From their registration page, they can click Edit Details or Edit Contact to answer the remaining custom form questions.

✏️Pro Tip: Please ensure you enable the 'Attendee Registration Options.'
To do this, please go to Setup > Registration > Advanced tab. Scroll to 'Attendee Registration Options,' then check all the applicable boxes and click Update to save.
Option 2: Share the Direct Speaker Registration Link
Alternatively, you can provide the speaker with a direct link to complete a new registration or update their details if they are already registered.
Navigate to Setup > Registration > Speaker tab.
Select Copy URL on the upper right-hand side to copy the Speaker's registration link.
Or you can click Preview, a new window will appear, and then you can copy the registration link and paste it into the email template.
Send the speaker your specific registration link. It should look like something like this: https://checkout.eventcreate.com/generaladmissionwithadd-on/speakers-809242-b90494/select-buy.
On the email template, you can ask them to enter their details and answer the required questions during checkout. See sample below:

💡Important: If the speaker is already registered and you choose Option 2, you must first disable Unique Registration. Making this adjustment allows guests to register or purchase tickets more than once using the same email address without receiving an error message.
