If you are selling tickets to your event, Stripe charges a credit card processing fee of 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction.
As the event coordinator, you have the option to:
Pass the ticket fees onto ticket purchasers. Their total will be the cost of the ticket + 2.9% + $0.30 and the full cost of the ticket will be deposited into your Stripe account.
Absorb the ticket fees. You will receive the cost of the ticket - 2.9% - $0.30 before being deposited into your Stripe account.
EventCreate's default settings are Attendee Pays fees. You can change this under Setup > Payments.
