Getting Started with the EventCreate Attendee App

The EventCreate Attendee App puts your event schedule, speaker bios, and key details directly into your attendees' pockets.

With the app, you provide a seamless way for guests to stay informed and navigate your event in real-time.

Note: The Attendee App is currently in beta. You may encounter occasional bugs or unexpected behavior as we work to refine and improve the experience.


Step 1: Request Access

Because the app is in beta, our team grants access to you.

  1. Log in to your Event Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Tools > More > Attendee App.

  3. Click Request Access.

Our support team will enable the feature for your event and notify you once you are ready to start building.


Step 2: Choose Your App Components

Customize what your attendees see when they log in. You can toggle various sections based on your event's needs:

  • Core Event Details: Ensure your Schedule, Speakers, Sponsors, and Exhibitors lists are finalized and accurate.

  • Logistics: Enable QR code scanning for easy check-ins.

  • Interactive Features: Request Support approval to enable 1-to-1 Attendee Chatting or Discussion Boards to boost networking.

  • FAQs (Highly Recommended): Help reduce inquiries by answering common questions in advance, such as:

    • When do the doors/gates open?

    • Where is the best place to park?

    • Is there venue Wi-Fi available?

    • What is the dress code?


Step 3: Brand Your App

Make the app look like an extension of your event branding by adjusting the design settings.

  • Visuals: Select between light or dark mode and choose an accent color that matches your brand.

  • Assets: Upload your logo and a high-quality event graphic.

  • Information: Write a clear short and long description of your event and provide a contact email for attendee support.


Step 4: Share the App with Attendees

The app is only effective if your attendees know how to find it. We recommend sharing the download URL in multiple ways:

​Digital Communication:

  • Registration confirmation emails

  • Reminder emails

On-Site Signage (For In-Person Events):

  • Print a QR code linking to the app and display it at check-in tables, registration desks, and session rooms.


Best Practices for Success

To ensure a smooth experience for your guests, follow these expert tips:

  • Early Launch: Enable the app at least 24–48 hours before the event starts.

  • Finalize the Schedule: Ensure your agenda is 100% accurate before sending the link.

  • Provide Login Guidance: Use the suggested copy below in your emails to help attendees log in without friction.

Suggested Copy for Attendees: "Download or open the EventCreate Attendee App and log in using the same email address you used to register for the event."

Note: For a limited time, the Attendee is app is available on all accounts for free.
