Can I add a video directly to my email invite?

No, you can’t embed a playable video, but you can add a link to the video, link to your event website with the video, or add a GIF or image to your email template.

Currently, it’s not possible to embed a playable video directly into your EventCreate email invite. However, there are several effective alternatives to share your video content with attendees:

1. Add a Video Link

You can include a link to your video on your email template:

  • Use the full URL from YouTube, Vimeo, or another video platform.

  • You can add a URL to any email template by following these steps:

    1. Go to your Event Dashboard.

    2. Navigate to Share & Tools → Emails/Invites.

    3. Click on the Templates tab.

    4. Create a new template or edit an existing one.

    5. Paste the full URL (starting with http:// or https://) directly into the body text of the email.

Note: At this time, we do not support clickable links in custom emails, but most email clients will automatically convert properly formatted URLs into clickable links.

2. Add a Video to Your Event Website

If your video is hosted on your EventCreate event website, you can send the event link from your email invite. This allows attendees to view the video without embedding it directly in the email.

3. Use a GIF or Image

To make your email visually engaging:

Tip

Emails don’t support embedded videos reliably across all email clients, so linking or using a GIF or IMAGE ensures all attendees can access the content without issues.
