Does EventCreate Automatically Add Taxes?
EventCreate does not automatically charge ticket tax, VAT, or sales tax. Instead, we recommend that you include any applicable taxes directly in your ticket price. That way, your guests see a simple, all-in total—and there are no surprises at checkout!
How to Add Tax Manually
If you'd like to itemize tax or include additional event fees, you can do that manually:
Go to your Event Dashboard.
Click Registration > Payment.
Under the Payment tab, scroll down to Advanced and look for the Credit Card Fee section, and click Changed Fees.
Here you can edit the % Rate or Fees.
Click Update to save.
This amount will be added to the total during checkout, so your pricing stays transparent.
