There are a few ways to collect guest or plus one information during registration.

βœ… For Simple Registration or RSVP Registration

  1. Go to your Event Dashboard

  2. Click Setup > Registration

  3. Scroll down and check the box: "My attendees may bring guests."

  4. Set the maximum number of guests each invitee can bring (this applies event-wide).

πŸ“ Tip: Want to allow a different number of guests per person?

With RSVP Registration or when your Registration Access Control is set to My Attendees Must Be on My List, you can specify the number of guests per invitee.

βœ… RSVP Registration to Set Guest limit based on Attendee

Step by Step Instructions on how to override the default setting on a per-invitee basis:

Step 1: First, go to Setup > Registration and update the Bring Guests field to the largest number of guests that someone can bring. This number applies globally which is why we suggest setting it to the largest number.

Step 2: Go to the Attendee List and upload your invitees' emails.

Step 3: Go to the Attendee List and click on the attendee's name. Select View/Manage > Edit Attendee. You can manually edit the number of guests that Attendee can bring with the dropdown. Set a custom number under Number of Guests

This updates the number of guests that specific invitee can bring to the event.

Pease note: We are planning to support uploading number of guests with the invitation list in the future.

βœ… With Ticketed or Multi-Event Registration

Ensure someone is able to purchase multiple tickets or register for multiple sub-events by going to the Tickets / Sub-Events tab.

Then, click on Show Advanced Options and confirm the following settings:

  • maximum is set to 2 or higher

  • minimum is set to 0

  • interval is set to 1
