Why do I get a "refused to connect" error when using a custom domain?

This “refused to connect” error may occur if you’ve set up your custom domain as a mask.

Please update your DNS with the following edits:

  • Remove the “forward with mask” setting

  • Add a CNAME record to your DNS per the instructions on your Website URL page under Event Dashboard > Website > URL
