How to Set up Email Confirmations, with Attendee Receipt through EventCreate

Want attendees to receive an automatic email after registering? Send confirmation emails that include event details and custom messages

There are three confirmations you can customize: Default (Attending), Not Attending, and Registration Closed.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. From your Event Dashboard, go to Setup > Registration > Confirmations under the Setup heading.

  2. There are three headers: Default (Attending), Not Attending, and Registration Closed. Click each of these headers to update the confirmation text.

Please note: For the Default (Attending) and Not Attending confirmation messages, you can customize the message that appears on the confirmation web page AND the confirmation email.

3. To update the Default (Attending) Confirmation page. Click on the "Edit Page" button:

4. Confirmation Page Editor will appear where you can update the page text, edit the colors and add a link.

5. Click Save Confirmation Page to Update.

6. To update the Default (Attending) Confirmation Email. Click on the "Edit Email" button:

7. Confirmation Email Editor will appear where you can update the Email, Header Text and Email Body Text. With the Business or Enterprise plans, you can also access Advanced Settings to customize the From Name, logo, attendee receipt, and confirmation button—including the button’s text, color, and link to your event website or confirmation page.

PREMIUM FEATURES:

The Confirmation Email Advanced Setting where you can update the header, From Name, and logo and Button is only available on the Business or Enterprise plans. To upgrade your plan, please use this link: eventcreate.com/plan

8. You can add the attendee receipt and ticket to the confirmation email by going to Setup > Registration > Confirmation and checking the Show Receipt option.

9. Once done, click Save Confirmation Email to update.

10. To Customize the NOT ATTENDING confirmation Page & Email, click on Confirmation>Not Attending

11. Add in the Text for the Confirmation Page & Confirmation Email.

12. Click Update, to Save:

13. To Customize the REGISTRATION CLOSED Page , click on Confirmation>Registration Closed:

14. Add in the Text and click Update to save:
