We don't automatically enable a waitlist once your event fills to capacity, but you can manually set up a waitlist a few ways:
🟢 SIMPLE REGISTRATION or RSVP REGISTRATION
You have two main options:
1. Update Your Confirmation Message
We recommend updating your confirmation messaging. You can include a notice under the Registration Closed heading asking interested guests to email you to be added to the waitlist.
Go to your Event Dashboard > Setup > Registration > Confirmation Message.
Add a note under the “Registration Closed” heading asking guests to email you directly if they'd like to be added to a waitlist.
2. Create a Waitlist Form
You can also create a secondary registration form to collect guest information. Then, set up your waitlist registration and include a link or button on your main event web page for guests to add themselves to the waitlist.
Go to Tools > More > Additional Forms, then click Create Additional Form.
Set up a simple form asking for name, email, and number of tickets requested.
Add a button or link to this form on your main event page, such as “Join Waitlist.”
🎟️ TICKETED or MULTI-EVENT REGISTRATION
You have two great options here:
1. Create an Additional Form (Waitlist Form)
We recommend creating an additional form to collect guest information. Then, set up your waitlist registration and include a link or button on your main event web page for guests to add themselves to the waitlist.
Navigate to Tools > More > Additional Forms and create a new form.
Use this to collect names, emails, and interest in tickets/sub-events.
Link this form on your event page using a button or a text link like “Join the Waitlist.”
2. Create a $0 Ticket or Sub-Event
You could also set up a $0 ticket/sub-event for Waitlist. This would allow your attendees to register their interest after the main event fills up.
Go to Setup > Tickets or Sub-Events, and create a new ticket titled “Waitlist.”
Set the price to $0 and limit the capacity if needed.
This lets interested guests officially register for the waitlist while keeping everything organized.
