How to Delete, Unpublish, or Remove an Event

If you no longer want your event to be visible, EventCreate gives you two options: you can unpublish it (hide it from the public) or delete it permanently.

Deleting an event is easy! You can remove an event by going to the "Manage Event" section of your event's dashboard and clicking on "Delete this Event."

Confirm you want to delete the event by clicking on the pop up prompt and the event will be deleted.

If you want to hide your website from the public, but keep event details and website template for future use, then unpublish your website rather than delete it permanently.

Unpublish (hide or remove your event from public view)

Unpublishing is best if you want to temporarily remove your event without losing any data.

  1. Go to your Event Dashboard

  2. Click Manage Event

  3. Toggle your event to Draft

Your event will no longer be visible to the public, but you can republish it anytime.

Delete (permanently remove your event)

Deleting an event will completely remove it from your account and cannot be undone.

  1. Go to your Event Dashboard

  2. Navigate to Event Settings

  3. Scroll down and click Delete Event

  4. Confirm deletion

Tip: If you're unsure, unpublish instead of deleting. Deleting an event is permanent and cannot be undone. All event details, attendees, orders, and event website will be deleted. These details cannot be restored once deleted.
