Error Message
“Authenticating Failed. Please try again. Request failed with status code 401.”
Steps to Fix
Double check your EventCreate login details and app access. If you are a collaborator, please confirm your login details with the Admin of the Account.
Close the EventCreate Check-In App completely.
Reopen it and try logging in again.
If the issue continues, delete and reinstall the app:
Log back in using your EventCreate account email and password.
Backup Option
If you’re still unable to log in, use the Web-Based Check-In from your browser.
It works exactly like the app and is a reliable backup option.
Access via: Event Dashboard → Share & Tools → More → Check-In
