Check-In App Error: Ticket Scan Failed

This issue can occur if you’re using an outdated version of the EventCreate Check-In App or if there is an issue with the QR code

Error Message:

“Ticket Scan Failed – Unable to scan the ticket. Please try again or check it manually to the database.”

How to Fix

Delete and reinstall the EventCreate Check-In App to ensure you have the latest version:

Backup Option

  1. Use Web-Based Check-In (Manual Check-In)
    If scanning still doesn’t work, you can manually check guests in:
    Event Dashboard → Share & Tools → More → Check-In

  2. You can also use a QR code reader such as QR Code & Barcode Scanner or the Chrome QR code scanner browser plug-in.
