Stripe Isn't Connecting? Quick Fixes

If your Stripe account isn’t connecting to EventCreate or payments aren’t processing, don’t panic—here are the most common issues and fixes.

Few things to check to ensure Stripe is connected:

  1. Still “Verification Required”?
    Log in to your Stripe Dashboard and look for a banner asking for more info. Upload ID, EIN/SSN, and banking details.

  2. Bank Info Correct?
    In Stripe, go to Settings → Bank accounts and scheduling. Double-check your account and routing numbers are entered correctly.

  3. Details Match Exactly?
    Your business name, EIN/ABN, or SSN in Stripe must match your legal documents (and what you entered in EventCreate).

  4. Still Not Connecting?

    • Disconnect Stripe in EventCreate

    • Clear browser cache or use incognito mode (Chrome/Firefox recommended)

    • Reconnect via Dashboard → Profile → Stripe Payments → Connect Stripe
