At this time, we don't offer a separate mobile editor / view of the site. To preview what the website looks like on mobile, we recommend using Google Chrome's Developer Tools: developer.chrome.com/docs/devtools/device-mode

Below are some tips and tricks to ensure that the website is optimized for viewing on desktop, tablet, and mobile.

  • Use "Standard Images" not "Background Images"

    • because background images don't have a fixed aspect ratio, they can be cropped on phones and other devices. If you don't want the photo to be cropped, convert the photo a standard image.

  • Use Recommended Image Sizes

    • For banners: use images at least 1600x1000px (ideally 2400x1600px) at 72DPI (max 2mb). If you’d like the image to use a fixed aspect ratio, I’d recommend adding a full-width image.

    • For images: use images that are at least 250 pixels and set to display at 100% width on any device.

How to Preview Your Website on Different Devices

  1. Use the Preview Feature in the Editor & Edit the Size of your Website Browser
While editing your website, click the Preview button. Then re-size your website browser to its smallest width.

  2. Test on Real Devices
For the most accurate view, open your event website URL on your actual smartphone, tablet, or other devices. This helps you see how it behaves on different screen sizes and browsers.

  3. Use Browser Developer Tools
Most modern browsers (like Chrome, Firefox, Safari) have built-in tools to simulate various screen sizes:

    • Right-click your website and select Inspect or Inspect Element.

    • Click the Toggle Device Toolbar (mobile/tablet icon) to switch device views.

    • Choose from preset device sizes or enter custom dimensions.

Why Preview on Different Devices?

  • Ensure your text is readable and buttons are easy to tap.

  • Check images and banners display correctly without cropping.

  • Confirm navigation menus work well on smaller screens.

  • Improve overall user experience for your attendees.

If you notice any issues while previewing, use the editor to adjust layouts, font sizes, or image settings for better mobile responsiveness.
