Why does my EventCreate site say “Coming Soon”?

If your event website is showing a “Coming Soon” message, it simply means your event has not been published yet. Your site is built, but it isn’t live for the public.

How to make your event website live

How to make your event website live

You have two easy options:

Option 1: Publish from the editor

  1. Look at the top of the screen from Website Editor or your Event Dashboard

  2. Click Publish Now

Option 2: Publish from the event menu

  1. Go to Manage Event

  2. Click Publish Now

Once published, your event site will go live immediately and the “Coming Soon” message will be removed.

Can I edit my site after publishing?

Yes. Publishing does not lock your site.

  • You can make edits at any time after publishing

  • Updates will appear on your live site when you refresh the page

  • You do not need to republish after every edit

Note about previewing your site

If you are logged into your EventCreate account, you may be able to preview your site even when it is not published or live. This preview is only visible to you.

To see what the public sees:

  • Open the event link in an incognito/private browser

  • Or open the link on your phone or a different device

  • Or log out of your EventCreate account and refresh the page

Still seeing “Coming Soon”?

  • Refresh your browser
