📱 What Are Text Messages in EventCreate?
EventCreate’s Text Messages feature allows you to send SMS notifications directly to your attendees. Text messages are perfect for time-sensitive announcements, such as schedule changes, last-minute reminders, or event day updates.
Note: Sending text messages via EventCreate is only available on the Enterprise Plan. Upgrade Your Plan here.
For non-Enterprise plans, you can still use your own device to send invites and reminders via SMS with the EventCreate event URL: Find your event URL
🔍 What You Can Do with Text Messages
Using EventCreate Text Messages, you can:
Send bulk SMS to attendees who opted in
Share updates, reminders, or notifications about your event
Include your EventCreate event link automatically in all SMS messages
Personalize messages with attendee details for a professional touch
Important: Only attendees that provide a phone number and opt-in to receive SMS messages can be contacted via EventCreate text messaging.
To see who granted permission:
Go to Attendee List
Check the Phone Number Consent column (true = opt-in, false = no consent)
🧾 How to Send a Text Message
Go to Share > More > Text Messages:
Click Send New Text Message and Create New SMS Template or select an existing template.
Enter your message content. The SMS automatically includes your Event Website link. Additional links cannot be inserted into SMS messages due to spam prevention rules. All texts sent from EventCreate are one-way messages and cannot be replied to. Include contact details or note “Please do not reply by SMS” at the end of your message.
Choose recipients (all attendees or a custom list).
Click Send
⚠️ SMS / Text Invites
Due to spam regulations, you cannot upload phone numbers to text from EventCreate until you have permission from the registered guests.
Sending invitations via SMS/text through EventCreate is not supported.

🛠 Schedule SMS / Text Messages
At this time, EventCreate does not support scheduling SMS messages.
You can create and save SMS templates in advance.
To send, push out the message manually when needed.
Tip: SMS templates automatically include your EventCreate event link.
🧾 SMS / Text Stats
Send data for text messages can be found under Text Messages & Analytics.
Click View next to any message to see delivery stats and status.

Keep messages short and clear, as SMS has character limits
Always preview your message before sending to avoid typos or broken links
