If you need to collect more than Yes or No responses, like Maybe or a specific Date and Time, we recommend using custom form questions to collect that information!
Under Setup > Registration > Setup tab, please confirm that the "Allow Guests to RSVP No / Not Attending" box is unchecked. By doing that, all potential attendees will be funneled to the RSVP form to complete it.
Pro Tip: Having a premium plan will let you add custom questions to your registration form! We often have people set it up this way:
Question: Can you attend?
Multiple Choice: Yes, No, Maybe
Question: If you can attend, which time is best?
Multiple Choice: 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am
You can see these responses in your Attendee List or Attendees Report to sort responses or send appropriate information.
Please note: All attendees will appear as Attending in your list because they went through the full registration flow. You'll want to manually tally your Yes/No/Maybe responses by looking at the custom form data in the Attendees Report.
If you're using Simple or RSVP Registration and are not seeing custom questions on the first page of registration, that's usually because you're collecting no/not attending responses and/or asking about the number of guests. Once they've answered those questions and clicked Continue, they'll see the custom form questions. I would recommend to disable the RSVP no option and it will go directly to the custom form questions.
