If your image appears darker after uploading, it’s usually because a background overlay (opacity setting) has been applied to that section.
See Video Demo here:
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS:
Go to your Website Editor
Hover over the section where your Background Image is used
On the right-hand, a pop-up menu will appear, click the first icon: Edit Section Image and Spacing:
4. On the left, a Image Menu will appear, click on Background Color. A drop down menu will appear.
5. Adjust the Background Opacity. Adjust the opacity slider to reduce or remove the overlay. Slide to the right to make the image darker or to the left to lighten the image. This allows your text to stand out over the background image. Once you lower the opacity to 0, your image should appear in its original color.
❗Design Tip:
The background opacity is designed to help your text stand out clearly over the image.
