Why do I see \r\n\r\n in my Attendees registration export?

If you see something like \r\n\r\n in your exported registration data, don’t worry—it’s not an error.

The "\r\n\"shows up because of extra spacing or line breaks between the options you set in your Custom Form Question:

✅ Fix:

  • Edit your custom form question responses

  • Separate your response options with commas only, as shown below:

  • Remove all spacing and line breaks between options. DO NOT add additional spaces or line breaks between response options:

Once you do this, the export will show the data cleanly—no more \r\n\r\n.
